Small tsunami waves hit Japan after earthquake
Danger appears to pass after warnings issued from Russia to Alaska

I forget the fact that I see the Pacific Ocean every day on the way to class and how its right there. Though I really do think I live up high enough that everything would be ok. That back-to-housing hike is good for something, right?

I'll try and post some pictures later today.

so i suppose i owe you peoples of the internet an update.

this past saturday i took the lsats - you know, the law school admissions test. it was kind of scary, but i think i did alright. if i think i can do 5+ points better in december ill take it again, but i really might not care. i find out my score october 23, so all of you can just pray for me to the great big lsat god in the sky that may or may not look like william rehnquist.

oh yeah, did i mention im kind of in a crazy mood? go figure.

i got an email from the franklin county (maine) assistant district attorney this morning, with whom i will be interning in the spring when i get back to farmington after a long year of traveling.
"Kate, Thanks for the update. I feel obligated to inform you that we will insist that you remain in Maine during your internship with our office. At the rate you are going I expect your next e-mail will come from China. By the way, if I found myself in Alaska I wouldn't come home until I caught the biggest Salmon in the world. Take care and we look forward to seeing you this Spring. Yours, Andy."
so thats going to be fun. im already laughing and joking with the ada i DIDNT interview with. always puts me in good spirits.

this coming weekend i am headed to seattle, washington to visit my good friend kori (theiceling), who i crashed in a very tiny apartment in paris with. we're good at tiny-place crashing. apparently im getting the all inclusive seattle tour, which is awesome. not to mention seattle has better weather than juneau! no, im not kidding, go to weather.com and look it up for yourself! coffee, pikes place, space needle, here i come.

halloween looks like its going to be a fun holiday. apparently uas staff have a running contest to see which department can come up with the best theme. and IT wins every year. and im working on halloween. this should be fun. not to mention theres a big halloween dance and we're having a halloween party of our own in g1.

thats all my news. feel free to leave the love, though, you people who read my blog. ive been severely comment-deficient lately.

hey guys!

im sorry ive been so lax at updating. its because ive had computer issues. i have my computer back now, but its without a working keyboard so its rather difficult to show you all of the amazing things ive been doing. hopefully dell gets their act together today and its back in my mailbox when i get out of my digital photo class (where im typing this as we speak) and i can show you all.

in the meantime, if you need to get ahold of me my cell phone still works. or leave a comment here. OR call (907)790-9882. Just remember the four hour time difference from the east coast.
